Stage and show technology: PC- and EtherCAT based control technology – the universal platform for all systems.

With the open automation technology from Beckhoff all systems in stage and show technology can be controlled: from the overstage and understage machinery, special effects, such as “water graphics”, show technology in amusement parks, to the entire lighting and building automation.

PC-based control technology is in use worldwide in theatres, shows or at concerts, such as the Scala in Milan, the Carré Theatre in Amsterdam or the SpiderCam® camera system.

Scalable Industrial PCs as platform for central or decentral control (PLC, Motion Control) of all systems: stage, lighting, building automation, shows, special effects.
EtherCAT: one fieldbus for all systems.
The central component for the connection of the entire sensor and actuator systems: from digital and analog standard signals to the integration of lighting technology (DMX, DALI, dimmer, LED) or actuators (servomotors, DC and stepper motors) as well as safety functions according to SIL 3.
Motion
Servo Drives and motors for the movement of backdrop or point hoists, stage sets or show elements, optionally with safety technology.
